Out of holiday cheer
D.C. Lottery players are in the holiday spirit, enough so, that the organization has sold out of two of its
holiday-themed Scratchers. The first, Holiday Cheer is the D.C. Lottery’s first bottleneck scratcher. The $2 scratcher ticket features a perforated center that
pops out so that the ticket can be placed on a bottled gift. The second, Turkey
Tripler, allows players the opportunity to win up to $1,000.
"Holiday Cheer was one of our most successful Scratcher games launched this year," said John Gorman, D.C. Lottery strategic development specialist. "This game's sell-thru rate easily beat our expectations, selling out in less than half the time we had originally forecasted."
CRA worked with the D.C. Lottery to promote the Scratcher tickets through in-store video animations and web
banners on the D.C. Lottery Web site.
