Beards for kids
Thanks to the overwhelming support from CRA friends, fifteen men with fifteen beards raised nearly $4,500 for CRA’s
first-ever No Shave November (NSN) fundraiser for Watts Elementary. CRA used the
donation funds to purchase winter coats, the original goal of the fundraiser for
Watts Elementary, and expanded the effort to include school supplies since
pledges exceeded expectations.
A special thanks to the men who took on the challenge (Matt Isner, Matt Fidler, Scott Castleman, Steve Gray, Thad Smith, Chuck Lilly, Robb Major, Matt Sutton, Chad Engle, Ryan Clark, Bruce Hobart, Mark Tubbs, Vince Harper, Chuck Hirst and John Auge) as well as to each person who pledged. This winter was warmer in more ways than one.
In addition to the NSN donation campaign, CRA has been involved with Watts
Elementary through tutoring, teacher appreciation, student-of-the-month lunches,
school improvements projects and much more.

Elementary, contact Allison McCarty.
